The post requires someone who is well organised and efficient, is used to dealing with a diverse workload, has strong numeracy and literacy skills and the ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff and a range of outside agencies. As is the current situation with the national pandemic, we require someone who is able to remain calm and professional, has the ability to be versatile and innovative in their approach and always keep the service to our school community as their highest priority.

Our school office is the focal point for parents, carers, pupils and visitors and our aim is to create a warm, friendly, welcoming and efficient impression on arrival. We endeavour to make our families and visitors feel valued and offer support and guidance where needed.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, have experience of using a range of IT packages which could include: SIMS, Microsoft Office products or similar. A very good standard of English is essential for this position.

The school office is extremely busy, and therefore you will need to be able to work under pressure and be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.

In return, you will be joining a nurturing and caring team, willing to support and invest in the right individual to ensure dedicated quality support services to the professionals in school and its parent and child community.

This is a permanent post to work 30 hours per week (Hours to be confirmed). As we are not able to offer face to face visits during this time, we would encourage you to contact Karen Bridger, Office Manager for any additional information you may require.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in a general office environment.

Closing Date: Mon 23rd Nov ‘20
