We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our data and intelligence team in Public Health.

All members of the team are expected to work flexibly and support the wider functions of Public Health and the Council, but this post holder will have a specific responsibility for health inequalities and our Population Health Management Function. You will also be responsible for our data warehouse and the automation of data manipulation, e.g. using R and Power BI. You will need to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, for example you will be the dedicated intelligence link person for our Pollution Control Team and for Primary Care Networks.

You will have highly specialist knowledge and experience of statistical techniques and procedures, acquired through masters’ level qualification or equivalent experience with at least five years’ experience of working in a complex environment.

You will also manage an analyst who will support the functions outlined above.

For an informal discussion, please contact Paul Fisher or 07963 558103
