‘Happy Hearts, Enquiring Minds, Promising Futures.’

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Principal at Oasis Academy Warndon in Worcester. Oasis Academy Warndon currently serves 588 children aged 2–11 and is about to undergo an expansion of its nursery provision which will include a new purpose-built addition to the school. This offers a fantastic opportunity to provide more to the school community and to build on the increasing numbers, since the school expanded to 3-forms of entry.

Warndon has talented, dedicated staff, motivated children and supportive parents. The school is driven by a powerful ethos which aspires to treat everyone equally and recognises the importance of a holistic approach to education.  As well as continuing to develop the schools high expectations and deliver a first-class education, it is also our desire to build an interconnected community, recognising that educational needs must prosper alongside the needs of the whole person.

Inspire, influence and lead our Academy to greatness

Are you an experienced, inspirational, motivational and dynamic school leader with substantial leadership experience? This is a wonderful opportunity to build on the strengths of the academy and lead this good school in the next steps of its exciting journey to becoming outstanding.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an individual with a strong track record of senior leadership, clarity of purpose and high expectations for all. Our new leader will crucially be a strategic thinker focused on making a difference to the educational life chances and wider positive contributions of all our children. As a high profile individual within the Academy you will champion the Oasis ethos, support and develop your leaders and empower their staff teams.  As Principal you will work with compassion, enthusiasm, commitment and determination to move the Academy forward. The successful candidate will need to have the skills and ambition to promote excellent teaching and learning, which is a feature of this school.

Effective Support

We do not expect you to do this alone. You will enjoy the support and challenge of a Regional Director along with the wider OCL National Team. By being part of a family of 52 Oasis Academies you will work alongside expert leaders in their field and benefit from a strong support network and partnership with other Oasis Community Learning primaries within the local region of 8 schools.  You will have many opportunities to share best practice and drive continual improvement, such as participating in Regional Improvement Networks and having access to a growing CPD programme nationally.
