Salary:  £32,234- £36,922 per annum

 37 Hours per week – Permanent

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to join our friendly and supportive team. Do you have excellent interpersonal skills? Can you work independently and as a part of a team?

Staffordshire County Council manages the statutory English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) within Staffordshire (excluding Stoke-on-Trent). We also issue Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) badges to transport operators who transport Staffordshire young people to School.

The Connectivity Officer role manages the day to day running of the ENCTS scheme, ensuring that eligible Staffordshire residents receive their pass to be able to travel for free. This post will also assist with reviewing the policy and issuing of the DBS badges. Based in the Connectivity Support Team, you will work with for the Connectivity Project Officer and with the DBS officers.  The role is key to ensuring that young people can travel to and from school safely as well as enabling people to travel who could become isolated. The role also involves calculating financial reimbursement to bus operators using Excel and managing independent medical assessments.

The Connectivity Support team is involved in a wide range of projects such as Superfast Staffordshire, Electric Vehicles and Air Quality, this role maybe required to assist on some of these projects. You will have experience of working in a busy team, working directly with external partners, dealing with members of the public and be confident using web-based systems.
