Mayfield is a large special school based over two sites in Handsworth & Lozells which will soon be joining the Education Impact Academy Trust. We educate children and young adults between the ages of 2 -19 years who have a diverse range of learning needs. Our ASC pupils are based at our Heathfield Road site and our SLD and PMLD pupils are based at our Wheeler Street site, in a unique setting on a shared site with Lozells Primary and Holte Secondary schools. Both buildings have purpose built facilities to cater for the 300 pupils we have on roll. The school is preparing for an exciting new chapter and we are seeking to appoint outstanding teachers to our full time
vacancies within our ASC department. The successful candidates will be experienced and outstanding classroom practitioners with a passion for teaching and a proven track record. Candidates will be able to inspire and engage our amazing pupils and will be keen to join our
committed staff team on our journey to becoming an outstanding school. Previous experience of working with ASC pupils with behavioural elements, and a desire to work with pupils with a range
