An exciting opportunity has arisen for high quality, adaptable and self-motivated Personal Assistant with excellent communication, administration and organisational skills. You will provide executive level support to either the Adults Social Care Management Team or the HR Management Team within Birmingham City Council. Respecting and preserving confidentiality will be key as well as the ability to thrive in a demanding, stimulating and fast-moving environment.  The role requires excellent literacy and numeracy skills and close attention to detail.

You should be self-motivated, solution focused and able to deal with enquiries professionally and work competently to high standards. You will have a wide range of experience of all aspects of personal assistant work, including preparing and editing documents and presentations, arranging and supporting meetings, accurate record keeping of formal and informal meetings. You will have experience of the of data analysis and preparing reports and briefings, complex diary and e-mail management and acting as a gate keeper.

You will be responsible for budget monitoring for the Senior Managers, booking travel and accommodation. You will need to be a confident decision maker to be able to maximise the time and attention of Senior Managers.  Flexibility with regards to working hours and location is essential.

This role will be based at Woodcock Street but travel across the city may be required.
