The Role

Temporary maternity cover from February 2021 - £8,218 to £8,550 p.a. for 18 hours a week term-time (plus one week) (£19,312 to £20,092

Could you become part of a dedicated and dynamic team and change the future of many young lives in a positive way?

We currently have an opportunity for a temporary Learning Mentor, covering a period of maternity leave for up to 9 months, commencing in February 2021. You will work with LAC and PLAC students and their families to help address barriers to learning, enabling students to make exceptional progress during their time at school.

The role is from February 2021 for, up to, 9 months.

Key Requirements

You will help to build a team across the school to work alongside families and students, and play a key role in developing whole-school approaches to improve levels of progress.

You will act as a bridge across academic and pastoral support roles with the aim of ensuring that individual students and their families engage in learning effectively.

You will need to have excellent communication skills and able to deal with demanding situations, as well as being energetic, caring and supportive. This is a rewarding role for someone who is willing to give their full support to students.
