The Housing Support Team exists to provide a comprehensive housing support service to residents within Dudley MBC with identified support needs. To enable them to maintain their home and to encourage and facilitate the residents’ independence, quality of life, health and well being.
Housing Support is currently looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to support our services which include:
• Floating Support,
• Drop In services,
• Pre Tenancy Workshops
Hours: 22.2 hours per week (3 days)
Salary: Grade 3
Location: Harbour Buildings, Waterfront West, Brierley Hill, DY5 1LN
To provide a comprehensive housing support service to Dudley MBC residents with identified support needs. To enable the residents to manage their home and to encourage and facilitate the residents’ independence, quality of life, health and well being.
The successful candidate will have:
• Demonstrable experience of clerical/administrative/financial duties.
• Have NVQ 2 or equivalent in administration, customer services or related subject.
• The ability to use relevant technology and be able to demonstrate knowledge and use a wide range of ICT systems and solutions.
• Demonstrate good numerical and verbal reasoning skills as well as literacy skills. E.g. by qualification or testing with the ability to produce documentation to a high standard.
• Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality requirements

The council has a contractual 3 days mandatory unpaid leave which, for the majority of services, are fixed at the Christmas period. This represents a pay deduction of 1.15% in return for which employees are afforded three days unpaid leave (pro-rata for part time staff).Supporting documents
