Housing Services is the landlord for the Council’s owned properties and offers a range of services to tenants and leaseholders.

Hours:  37 per week

Salary:  Grade 4

Housing Services includes an in-house maintenance team that delivers a range of repairs and planned improvements to homes throughout the borough, ensuring that homes remain safe, comfortable and energy efficient. The team also undertakes a range of maintenance services to the Council’s other built assets and traded services sites.

The post holder will play an important role within the team by providing admin support for a range of gas and water hygiene inspection, servicing and maintenance services, including liaising with residents, contractors and other council sections.

The council has a contractual 3 days mandatory unpaid leave which, for the majority of services, are fixed at the Christmas period.  This represents a pay deduction of 1.15% in return for which employees are afforded three days unpaid leave (pro-rata for part time staff).
