About us

 

Warwickshire County Council’s Adult and Community Learning (ACL) Service provides a wide range of adult learning courses across the county. We are innovative, forward-looking and rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

We are looking for a technical specialist to provide leadership and management of our finances and other key functions.

You will be joining an experienced and dedicated management team who are committed to providing a high quality service for Warwickshire residents.  You will have an open, positive and supportive approach, and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the service.

 

Interviews for this post will take place on Friday 11th December

 

Candidates will be asked to complete a task and deliver a short presentation prior to their interview, as part of the selection process

 

 

Key requirements

 

Successful candidates are likely to be experienced in managing financial and other key functions, such as business planning, information systems, contract and venue management, and health and safety.

 

As our technical specialist you will provide a high level of expertise in your professional discipline, with the ability to design and shape solutions that support the successful achievement of the service delivery plans. You will have strong communication and reporting skills that enable you to work effectively with staff at all levels and to provide training and guidance to others as needed.

 

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent.
