School Administrator (Maternity Cover)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to cover our current ParentMail administrator during her maternity leave and to provide administration support for the wider team. This is offered as a temporary position and is likely to be until 31st August 2021.
ParentMail is a web-based service providing a cashless environment that enables parents to make secure online payments for costs such as students’ lunch accounts, trip contributions, show tickets, any re-sit examinations costs and textbook purchases. Administrative responsibilities will be aligned to the core Admin Team functions, as set out in the job description.
The post is for 24 hours per week based on 4 days per week, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 8.30am – 2.30pm, term time plus, one-week staff learning days and two additional weeks to be worked during the summer break; 41 weeks per annum. The two additional weeks will be worked at the end of the summer holiday to include GCSE results day and beyond.
Salary will be paid at Band E; £18,933 to £19,698 per annum paid pro-rata; starting point depending on experience and qualifications. Actual salary, based on the hours and weeks worked, is calculated at £11,135 to £11,585, subject to any continuous service.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent administrator with outstanding attention to detail along with an ability to support student welfare and who has a positive interest in further developing the important relationships between students, staff and parents.
