Social Worker, Throughcare Looked After Children Service

Salary:  £32,234 - £36,922 pro rata

18.5 Hours per week - Permanent

This is an opportunity to manage an experienced and supportive Throughcare Team based in Lichfield.

This team works with older Looked After Children and young people who are leaving or who have left care. The age range of the children and young people who receive a service is 13 years to 25 years

Throughcare Teams provide the following services:

  • Social Work Case Management of older Looked After Children
  • Direct work with children and young people, their families and carers
  • All aspects of Pathway Planning for young people who are preparing to leave care
  • Advice, support and guidance to young people who have left care
  • Financial support for young people who have left care
