TA2 - Teaching Assistant

The Role

We wish to appoint a teaching assistant for 19 hours per week to join our successful and supportive staff team in our outstanding school.
The role will include 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs.
The job will start as soon as possible continuing until the end of the academic year, the child has left the school or no longer needs an Education Health Care Plan.

The position is temporary, until August 2021 (19 hours per week, TTO, 39 Weeks). It is essential that you already have proven experience of working in an educational setting. Suitable qualifications are required.

Key Requirements

You will need to be experienced in working with pupils with special educational needs
Experience of working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil, supporting and developing specific individual needs.
Experience of working with children aged 4-7 years of age.
You will need to follow programmes put in place by the class teacher, and other outside agencies.
