Working Pattern: Monday to Friday – 27.5 hour split shift contract (6.30am – 9.30am & 2:30 – 5.30pm), all year.
Start Date: 21st December 2020 to allow for a short handover.
Broad Description - Responsible for managing caretaking services of all buildings forming the school site, assisting the School Business Manager (SBM) to ensure a safe and secure environment. Responsible to the SBM or nominated representative, undertake caretaking, cleaning and site maintenance routines and respond to emergencies relating to the site as necessary.
Also, ensure the school building is safe and well maintained and be skilled in carrying out reactive repair and maintenance work across all areas of the site (DIY skills are advantageous). Works under broad direction and laid down procedures. Possibility of some staff supervisory responsibility and some limited budgetary responsibility.
