Solihull Childrens Services is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated Apprentice to join our Looked After Children and Fostering Service. You will be working in a team of administrators whilst completing a Level 2 in Customer Service. As one of a team of Business Support Assistants you will contribute to making a difference to the young people and families of Solihull as you support our social work staff by providing an effective and efficient administration service within a busy social work office.

Located in our modern offices at Chelmsley Wood, you will be part of a busy team that provides a comprehensive administrative service to the wider social work service alongside a range of customers and stakeholders.

You will have either GCSEs Grade A-C / 4 or above (or equivalent) in English and demonstrable Numeracy Skills. You will also have:

- Good communication skills

- Experience of using a wide range of computer packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (or equivalent).

- Ability to produce consistently accurate work

- Willingness to learn and develop yourself
