John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) has a vision of one community, striving for personal excellence based on four key values of respect, perseverance, kindness and integrity. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint a Lead Teacher of Business and Economics.

The successful applicant will have a confident understanding of the Business and Economics curriculum and current trends in teaching within this area. They will have the ability to inspire and challenge students through their passion and knowledge.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and creative teacher who is able to utilise their pedagogical skills across Business and Economics to deliver engaging and inspirational lessons and who is committed to pupil achievement and supports students to succeed.

The successful candidate will be:

• QTS qualified and have experience of teaching Business and Economics qualifications in the UK at key stage 4 and 5

• able to teach A Level and BTEC Business and Economics at KS5

• able to teach GCSE Business at key stage 4

• interested in teaching a vocational curriculum

• motivated with excellent subject knowledge

• eager to be involved in offering extracurricular activities • enthusiastic and well organised

• able to motivate and inspire students

• committed to contributing to a successful team

• committed to their own personal development
