Sensory Impairment Team Specialist Peripatetic Teaching Assistant for HI
Part time 15 hours
Salary: £20,092 - £24,491 (plus SEN £1324) (please pro rata to 15hrs & Term Time only) 


We are a highly regarded team supporting learners with a sensory impairment in mainstream settings across the county. This is an opportunity to join the team as a peripatetic teaching assistant working with Children and Young People with hearing impairments. You will be working with children and young people with hearing impairment from birth – 25 years. Support will be in family homes, early years settings, mainstream schools and FE colleges across Worcestershire. You will be working with and supporting Teachers of the Deaf, Educational Audiologist and a Senior Specialist Peripatetic Teaching Assistant.


We are seeking to appoint a committed, experienced and highly motivated teaching assistant with excellent interpersonal skills, the confidence to advise school-based teaching assistants as necessary and ability to travel across the county. You will have at least BSL level 2 and experience of working with children who require signing to communicate.
