The Role

Could you become part of a specialised team and help to change the future of many young lives in a positive way?

We are looking for a confident and self-motivated individual to work with our pastoral and SEND teams. The role will be to mentor students, with guidance from the Mental Health Lead, aged 11 – 18 with low-level mental health needs. You will encourage and guide students through group mentoring programmes and ensure appropriate referrals to other agencies as necessary.

Appointments are on a temporary contract (initially until 31 August 2021), with continuation subject to annual renewal of funding.

Salary, £8,218 - £8,550 p.a. for 18 hours a week (term-time/39 weeks a year) (£20,092 p.a. pro-rata).


Key Requirements

Suitably qualified, ideally with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, you will mentor students on a 1:1 basis through all year groups, including our 6th Form.
