Commissioning Manager – 3 Permanent Posts

Salary:  £46,564- £50,427 per annum

37 Hours per week

Adult Care Commissioning is moving at pace to deliver an exciting and challenging portfolio of projects to deliver our vision for the future. In order to meet the challenges we have, and to improve outcomes for people who receive social care support in Staffordshire we are recruiting for three Commissioning Manager Posts.

The posts are

  • Commissioning Manager – All age disability and Mental Health Commissioning Team – focusing on Improving Outcomes for people with Learning Disabilities and Carers.
  • 2 Commissioning Managers – Older People and People with Physical and Sensory Disabilities. – focussing on 1. Improving outcomes for Older People and Enablement and 2. Improving outcomes for younger adults with a physical or sensory disability and social care workforce.

The posts will cover a range of projects and provide support to achieving our objectives.

Commissioning Managers need to be able to;

1. Have a clear understanding of ASC and the challenges faced in Staffordshire.

2. Work independently to a high standard and be able to meet deadlines and objectives. 

3. Be able to work across a range of partners and stakeholders. 

4. Take a lead to deliver specific commissioning projects,

We are looking for people who can work at a strategic level but also have a sound understanding of adult social care operations and legislation. A social work qualification and/or operations experience would be desirable but is not essential.
