Site Manager

Full time: 37 hours per week

Salary range: Grade D, £23,541 - £30,451 per annum

A ‘live in’ appointment is our preferred option in the existing on site house, but this is not a prerequisite; we look forward to hearing from applicants with or without previous school experience.  The school encourages applicants to view the site as part of the application.

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, experienced, motivated and flexible Site Manager to look after our school and everyone in it.  As Site Manager, you will be pivotal in managing, maintaining and improving the school infrastructure as well as carrying out all requirements in safety, security, cleanliness and presentable standards of the school.  You will represent the school when dealing with contractors and suppliers, ensuring that our site remains safe for all staff, students and visitors.  The postholder must provide an efficient and high quality service in all matters to ensure the school can provide the best quality teaching and learning environment for all. 

Main duties:

• Daily management and deployment of site staff and contractors under the direction of the Facilities Director.
• Organise, schedule and assist with maintenance, repairs and refurbishments around the school site. 
• Assist in the implementation of school health and safety and environment policies.
• Keeping the school site and buildings safe and secure.
• Reporting issues requiring external contractors to the Facilities Director.
• Ensure security of the school premises and ground, its contents and safe custody of keys and management of CCTV and security cameras.
• Lettings and school events throughout the school year will, at times, require late working for which additional hours will be paid.
