Senior Science Technician

The Role

Grade F (Pt 6-11) £19,698 - £21,748) FTE - Pro rata for working weeks

We are currently looking to appoint a Senior Science Technician to join our successful, ambitious and friendly science team.

The successful candidate will be joining an established team with an innovative and determined commitment to support teaching and learning in science. You will work with the science department as part of a professional team to support learning by providing technical assistance by working with pupils in the delivery/demonstration of practical learning activities and the preparation and maintenance of teaching areas and equipment for pupils.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a forward thinking approach and will ensure they plan, prepare and set up specific resources/materials/equipment for lessons. Laboratory experience and detailed knowledge of safe laboratory working practices.
