Senior Practitioner, First Response Service

Salary:  £37,890- £41,881 per annum

 37 Hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, Social Worker Senior Practitioner within the First Response Team.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Practitioner to support the Team manager and fellow Senior Practitioners to lead our First Response Team which is situated within the MASH, where we work on a multi –agency basis providing a professional and quality telephone and web based referral and signposting service.

Our service is focused and responsive to the needs of the County’s vulnerable children and their families and  will require you to have knowledge of Early Intervention within Targeted Services (Early Help), Safeguarding, Looked after Children including Fostering Services; Children with Additional needs (Disability Services) and a sound knowledge of the thresholds for these services.

Good ICT skills & knowledge of Care Director and other children’s information systems are essential, as would be an understanding of the referral service as operated by the First Response Team.

The post holder will be expected to work flexibly as required to manage the service effectively.
