Job Details

An excellent opportunity has come up at Grove Vale Primary School. The head teacher is looking to appoint a hardworking and enthusiastic School Administrator to undertake general clerical/administrative duties within the school office.

The duties of a School Administrator will include the following:
• Making outgoing/receiving incoming routine telephone calls as requested, in particular first day calling for absences.
• Assist the school with pupil attendance
• Reporting pupil numbers to SMBC as and when required
• Greeting visitors to the school, signing in and out, issuing security passes. Providing necessary hospitality.
• Postal duties including receiving, opening and distributing incoming mail and despatching outgoing mail.
• Meet and liaise with prospective parents and produce new starter packs for incoming pupils
• Dealing with staff and pupils registers.
• Administration of cool milk and liaise with providers
• Receive and check contents of parcel deliveries and distribute as necessary.
• Communicate with parents via the schools communication tool Parentpay
• General word processing and routine I.T. tasks.
• General administrative tasks including filing.
