Expert in data handling? Proactive? Thrive on detail?
The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner has an interesting opportunity for an Information Governance Officer to help improve data handling and privacy across an evolving and dynamic environment.
You will be expected to work on your own initiative, within a fast paced environment. We are particularly seeking candidates with broad understanding of data protection and information governance, with experience of making assessments and providing advice under the Data Protection Act 2018. Knowledge and experience of the Freedom of Information Act is also required.
The successful candidate will need to have strong communication skills in order to provide clear advice to key stakeholders both internally and externally, and have the ability to manage their own workload effectively.
We are a diverse organisation and we welcome applications from everyone. We also offer a guaranteed interview scheme from those with disabilities.
For an informal chat about the role please contact Andrea Gabbitas on 0121 626 6060. Please submit your completed application to wmpcc@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk
