Training, Systems & Information Officer

£24,491 - £27,041 per annum pro rata

29.6 hours per week

Permanent contract

An opportunity has arisen for a Training, Systems & Information Officer, the role is based within our HR team with close liaison with the ICT Department. 

The successful candidate must be a confident communicator and have experience of designing and delivering face to face and virtual training. 

The post holder will support the organisation in the digital transformation agenda, providing training and developing user guides by working in partnership with relevant managers on a range of subjects including; GDPR, Information Security, Safeguarding, Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel.  The post holder will use Enable Now and Adapt to create training packages

The post holder will also act as lead Cyber Awareness Champion and liaise with the external Cyber Crime Unit to discuss and develop new and ongoing training.

The post holder will deliver training to all staff and Elected Members.  They must have excellent customer service skills, be approachable and have the ability to explain complex information simplistically for delegates.  They must also possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages in order to assist with queries outside of the formal training forum. 

In addition to training, the post holder will assist with the administration of learning and development activities by enrolling delegates onto courses, monitoring completion rates of all e-learning training and escalating non-compliance in addition to reviewing existing course materials.

Some evening work is required in order to train Elected Members.  The post holder may also be required to deliver training to external delegates.
