Trust Support Administrator Level 3

37 hours per week, Term Time only + 1 week, Grade 6, SCP 7 – 11 (starting at £20,092 – £10.41 per hour) pro-rata to hours worked, Temporary in the first instance until 31 August 2021.

Trust Ed School's Partnership have extremely high standards and expectations and are looking to appoint an administrator to join our well-established MAT Central Services Team. As a member of the central services support team you will be based at our Trust offices in Bridgnorth but will be required to work within the central team or at any of our schools within the Bridgnorth area. Ideally, the successful candidates will be experienced and skilled in working in a busy school environment. Experience of working within a School or within an office environment is advantageous as the successful candidate will need to hit the ground running. This post represents a genuine opportunity to play a key role within the school administration team. Responsibilities are hugely varied; no two days are ever the same and a good sense of humour is essential.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a highly customer focussed attitude, personal integrity and professionalism and strong organisational and administrative skills. A vital part of this role is the ability to be flexible, calm and deal effectively with work pressures as they arise.

• Using the school's internal system (SIMS) to record a high volume of data, attendance, lunch money, trips etc.

• Using relevant equipment/ICT software, e.g. Office 365, SIMS, Parentpay etc. under the supervision/direction of the Office Manager the post holder is expected to ensure electronic and manual school data is input accurately in a timely manner adhering to statutory regulations, so that the school may draw upon this information.

• To undertake typing, word processing and IT based tasks e.g. SIM’s/update online sites with school information linked to personnel and data protection.

• Assisting the Office Manager with various administrative tasks

• Communicating effectively with students, staff, and parents in a professional and friendly manner

• Covering reception duties

• General administrative tasks, including copying, scanning, filing

• Updating and maintaining student and staff records

• Answering phone calls and face-to-face enquiries

• Some front of house reception duties where necessary

• Ability to use SIMS competently and confidently

• When required provide all aspects of administration duties to the Senior Leadership Team e.g. writing letters, arranging meetings etc.

• Works within a school as part of the Trust Business Support Team.

The ideal applicant will have:

• Experience in a senior administration role.

• Experience of working in a busy school or college environment.

• A real passion for working within an education environment.

• Experience utilising SIMS (School Information Management System) within an administrative role.

• Be conversant with school IT packages and systems.

Candidates will enjoy working in a busy environment, be self-motivated, well-organised, hard-working, use their initiative and be willing to undergo any training that is required. You will also need to demonstrate a good level of ICT, English, and Numeracy skills.
