We are seeking a positive, proactive Learning Support Assistant to provide support for our students. This is a permanent whole-year post (26 hours per week across five days) available for an immediate start as part of the school’s highly successful Learning Support Department. Work will involve mostly in-class support for identified individual students within the larger group setting. Up to 2.5 additional hours per week available for candidates interested in taking up 30 minute daily lunchtime duties as part of their role.

The Salary Scale is the Local Authority’s Grade 3 (Teaching Assistant General – Level 2) - £18,562-£18,933 per annum - pro rata. Actual starting salary will be £13,043 per annum or 26 hours contact  time per week within the normal school day.  Your working hours will be five 1 hour lessons per day Monday to Friday in the school hours of 8.55am – 3.35pm plus 1 hour of support outside of lessons.
