The Directors are seeking to appoint someone with experience of working with young people to work within the school’s pastoral team in providing a complementary service to the school in addressing the pastoral needs of students. The SSO will liaise with students, staff, parents and external agencies when needed to support students’ progress within the academy and their attitude to school life.
The post is for 37 hours per week during term time plus INSET (6 days).
St Thomas More Catholic Academy is an 11-18 mixed Catholic comprehensive school with 1110 students on roll which has an excellent reputation throughout the area. On 1 November 2013 St Thomas More together with four primary academies formed the All Saints' Catholic Collegiate (MAC).
