We currently have a vacancy for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs.

This post will initially be offered on a fixed term contract for 1 year. 

26.25 hours per week

Salary £19,698-£20,903 per annum (full time equivalent)

Closing Date:               Friday 4th December 2020

Interviews:                  Monday 7th December 2020

The successful candidate will:

  • Support pupils within the classroom and as part of a small group
  • Liaise with the class teacher and plan activities to meet the needs of the pupils
  • Support the teacher in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans
  • Deliver targets from outside agencies-Speech and Language/Occupational Health
  • Use assessment procedures to track progress and monitor next steps in learning
  • Liaise with parents and provide feedback
  • Liaise with outside agencies and provide reports for Annual Reviews
  • Have a kind and caring nature
  • Work as part of a committed and friendly team
