We are looking for an experienced Engagement Officer to join our dedicated team. Engaging our residents in the work of SCH is at the heart of everything we do and underpins all elements of our Delivery Plan. The new Engagement Framework provides new and innovative ways for residents to engage with us and you will play a central part of ensuring the Framework is successfully delivered. You will be engaging with residents in a variety of ways so that they are shaping and influencing what happens in their locality/neighbourhood, ensuring their views are heard to drive improvement. A key function of this role is engaging with the Building Safety agenda, supporting residents to ensure their home and the block they live in is kept safe and secure. Work in the Customer Experience Team is fast-paced but rewarding. To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience of working in communities to provide a wide range of engagement opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of social media platforms

In return you will have the opportunity to influence the way SCH work with its residents.

We also offer:
• Flexible working, with up to 24 days annual leave per year and agile working arrangements
• The opportunity to buy up to 5 days additional days of leave per year
• Access to our Employee Assistance Programme – a 24 hour independent, free and confidential advice and support service
• Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme
• Employee benefits including a staff discount card

To apply, please click on the link below. If you have a specific question or require further information regarding this post, please contact Sophie Ashford, Resident Engagement Team Leader, on 07500 126735.
