We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a 1 year fixed term basis, with structured working hours each day.
The successful applicant will be joining a hardworking team undertaking the support of pupils with Special Educational Needs. You must have a proven record of working with children with SEN and be innovative in your approaches to responding to and resolving challenging behaviours. Experience working within a focussed provision and an understanding of ASD would be beneficial as you must be an excellent role model and be able to form good working relationships with pupils, their families and colleagues.
Our School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups including children, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An Enhanced DBS clearance and Childcare Disqualification Declaration is required for this role.
