Are you an experienced Social Worker with energy and a passion for strength based Social Work?
Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your skills & potential, working with colleagues across the People Directorate, the private and voluntary sector and health partners.
Do you want to influence the way Adult Social Care support residents of Worcestershire to fulfil their potential through promoting independence and strength based conversations and support planning?
If so we'd love to work with you.
This role is critical in ensuring we embed the Three Conversation model and promote cultural change to ensure that this new approach continues to deliver a better service for the people we work with, our partners and our teams.
The job will require you to support teams across all service areas and in supporting other areas of work that have a direct link with adult social care .
Working with staff and managers you will:
- Be part of the 3C project team, working closely with a programme manager to deliver key objectives.
- Support existing and new reflective practice meetings in partnership with the Social Work Academy and ensuring staff development and training needs in relation to Three Conversations are met.
- Review and amend existing policies and practice guidance to reflect the new way of working
- Identify and promote best practice in teams
- Work closely on service developments with colleagues in other areas of the People Directorate to ensure there is a seamless service for residents that compliments the strengths based model, such as the development of an Integrated Wellbeing Offer (Front door), Integrated Care Systems (Health and social care working much more closely together) and use of Liquid Logic to support strength based working.
