Newly arrived young people’s programme (Involved).

To support our growth, we are seeking a dynamic and charismatic Programmes Co-ordinator who will work closely with the management team to develop our programme of  work specifically targeting young people newly arrived to the UK that are residents of Coventry.

We want to ensure that young people in Coventry who arrive in the UK for the first time, have been living in the city or who are asylum seekers have the right support mechanisms in place to be able to become active member of the community and to have equal opportunities to achieve positive outcomes.

Some of our key objectives are to offer newly arrived young people accessible Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) regarding their future options in their new environment and to develop innovative projects and programmes aimed at understanding Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health of newly arrived young people. We aim to support participants into some form of training, employment or education.

Knowledge of the youth, migrant and community sector will be essential for this role, as will a high standard of partnership working and commitment to supporting young people.

If you want to make a difference to young people’s lives – then this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

The closing date for this post is the 4th January 2021.

Interviews will be conducted during the week commencing 11th January 2021.
