Inclusion Support Assistant

 

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract: Permanent, Term-time only (38 weeks)

Working Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday – 4 hours per day. Hours negotiable but preferably 10am-2pm)

Scale: Grade 4, SCP 5

Starting Salary: £19,312 FTE pro rata (actual salary: £8,749 per annum) 

Closing Date: Noon on Tuesday 8th December 2020

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our school, which was graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted and ‘Outstanding’ by the Diocese. 

Our staff team are committed to improvement and we believe in high standards, team work and seeking the very best for every child in our care.  We are a welcoming, vibrant and successful school looking to appoint an inspiring, creative and dynamic individual to support pupils in our school.  The successful applicant will be expected to work in the classroom supporting the class teacher and children on a 1:1 or group basis.

We are very proud to be a Church School and the Christian ethos that is embedded throughout the school contributes to the happy atmosphere at Sir John Offley.  We are looking for someone who is willing to further contribute to the Christian ethos of our school.

This post is suitable for someone who has previous experience of supporting children’s learning in school.  A job description and person specification is attached giving further information about the post and the skills and knowledge that are required.
