The Role
We are looking for a self-motivated Caretaker who will take pride in the appearance of our school.
As the Caretaker, typical taskes will include security (including opening/locking up and acting as a key holder), safety, general repairs and painting & maintenance routines of our school buildings and site as well as supervising cleaning staff.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Hours: 6:30pm – 11.30am (11am on a Friday) PLUS 3.40pm – 6.10pm
Full-time 37 hours per week
During school holidays the hours will be approx. 8:00am - 4:00pm with your own holidays to be taken during school holiday periods.
Key Requirements
You will need to have good DIY skills for small general repairs, maintenance & decorating as well as being responsible for health & safety.
You will be hardworking, energetic and flexible in your role and want to make a difference to our school site. You will have good organisational skills and be proactive around the site.
You will have good inter-personal skills with children, staff, parents, governors, contractors and visitors. You will need to enjoy working around children and have a good sense of humour!
