Specialist Teacher Consultant – Early Years

Entrust Education Improvement are recruiting for a Specialist Teacher Consultant who will be part of the team delivering Early Years (EY) aspects of Entrust’s Education Improvement Service.

As a Specialist Teacher Consultant you will provide support, advice and challenge to the EY private, voluntary and independent (PVI) sector as well as maintained schools and academies. The role is also to develop our traded services and increase traded revenue.

You will be working with a team of highly motivated and professional school improvement advisers and in your specialist area you will provide strategic direction, empower team members and secure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of Entrust with your Head of Service
  • Prepare, deliver and support, training and consultancy across the EY portfolio including pupil casework
  • Actively contributing to Entrust’s traded services
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and contribute to service data collection
  • Represent Entrust in a range of forums and partnership events, own and manage client relationship to nurture business opportunities
  • Contribute to marketing activities including social media
  • Keep up to date on developments relating to initiatives and to disseminate to team members
  • Undertake other duties at the request of the Head of Services and others with delegated responsibilities

What we’re looking for:

  • An excellent track record of leadership and delivery of significant improvements in quality across a range of educational establishments
  • An excellent knowledge of a school/EY environment with evidence of working collaboratively with other agencies in these areas
  • A wide knowledge and understanding of EY SEND
  • Excellent organisational, people, project management skills
  • A flexible proactive approach
  • Demonstrate experience of delivering world-class service
  • Ability to establish and build positive working relationships at all levels
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and IT skills
  • Up to date knowledge of appropriate regulatory frameworks
