The Principal Planning Officer role provides the opportunity to work in Development Management in one of the City's Area Teams, determining a diverse portfolio of planning applications and appeal work. As part of the role you oversee the work of Senior Planning Officers, ensure that the service meets performance targets, provide high standards of customer service and ensure good quality development is delivered.
You will need to hold a degree in Planning or a related discipline, be a Corporate Member of the RTPI and have substantial experience.
