Head of Design Technology Department

Main to UPS 3 depending on experience

Start date:  Easter 2021 (or before if possible)

Position for Head of DT department of 3 staff, housed in a great specialist teaching space. Currently, we offer Food Technology, Textiles and some aspects of Resistant Materials to our pupils in KS2 & 3 (Years 6,7 & 8) Attainment and progress are high and the school leadership highly values DT’s contribution to education. It’s an amazing department to work in and lead.

We are looking for an experienced specialist teacher who would like a Middle Leadership challenge, or if you are a less experienced specialist who is interested in being nurtured for future leadership, this post could suit you. We are flexible in the DT portfolio of skills that candidates can demonstrate – the wider the skill set the better. Interview details on application.
