Legal Officer (Rights of Way)

Salary:  £23,541 – £27,041 per annum

37 hours per week – Permanent

Applications are invited from an enthusiastic, innovative, suitably experienced Legal Officer for an opportunity that has arisen to join our large, experienced and friendly Property Team. 

The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills and will be a capable and adaptive lawyer who can readily pick up knowledge and drafting skills to conduct research, balance evidence and draft a report to present to Rights of Way Panels.  Rights of Way law is an interesting and specialist area of work and so training will be given to the right candidate who will gain a valuable depth of expertise in this area.

The ideal candidate will also be an excellent communicator who is able to prioritise a varied workload.  Self-organisation skills and an eye for detail will also by key.    You will be expected to conduct and manage your own caseload with supervision.  You must be able to communicate effectively with members, senior officers and clients.
