Applications are invited from an enthusiastic, innovative, suitably qualified and experienced Chartered Legal Executive, Solicitor or Barrister for an opportunity that has arisen for a to join our extremely experienced and friendly Litigation Team. 

The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills and will be able to take forward conduct of a wide range of civil and criminal litigation cases and will give advice and provide advocacy services on the same, where necessary and appropriate to their experience.  Typical work includes Debt Recovery; repossession/possession proceedings including recovery of land from itinerants; education prosecutions & applications, and Trading Standards prosecutions.  However, the postholder should expect to deal with a very wide-range of litigation-related matters and provide support to a unified Legal Services team working within a supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate will also be an excellent communicator who is able to prioritise a varied workload.  Self-organisation skills and an eye for detail will also by key. You will be expected to conduct and manage your own caseload with supervision. You must be able to communicate effectively with members, senior officers and clients.
