Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant - Buildwas Academy

• 30am – 3.30pm (32.5 hours per week)
• £10.01 per hour

We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant, with extensive experience of working with children with Autistic Spectrum Condition to join a fantastic Academy in rural Shropshire to work with in the school on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 6. 

This will be on a full-time basis.

This 'GOOD' school (2019) boasts a well-resourced team which aims to make learning inclusive for all children. The Executive Principal of the school is looking for a passionate SEND TA who will work closely with the child to encourage learning academically and socially.

The right SEND teaching assistant will have extensive experience of working with children with ASD and associated difficulties including supporting social communication and interaction and anxiety and emotional regulation. The school would benefit from a SEND Teaching Assistant who is confident expressing new ideas whilst working closely with other professionals and the schools SENDCo to enhance learning experiences continually. A candidate who is patient and has a good sense of humour would fit in with this schools dynamic staffing team!

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting young children with special educational needs. The members of staff in the school work to specific Pupil Centred Plans so a candidate who is confident with tailored learning plans and a flexible work ethic would be beneficial.
