The Westminster School is looking to appoint a qualified inspirational and creative teacher to join our Outstanding Special School. Our School is extremely successful and employs a range of dynamic teaching methods and is committed to innovative curriculum development and its practices put it at the forefront of learning and teaching nationally and throughout the West Midlands region.

The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusion and improving outcomes for students with special educational needs and share our commitment to ensuring that all of our young people are fully prepared and supported for life beyond education. This would be a suitable role for either a qualified teacher looking to specialise in SEN teaching or an experienced SEN teacher who is looking for to join a flourishing, supportive and highly-skilled staff team.   

Our school caters for 219 pupils aged 7 -19 years with a wide range of special educational needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Development Delay and Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities.

Our school is based on a superb learning campus built in 2011, and is resourced with the latest equipment and technologies.

Our school is led by a dedicated Head Teacher and senior leadership team who are supported by a committed Governing Board and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop within an exciting and creative curriculum and be part of a highly motivated team, which prides itself on its collaborative working practices, and are transforming the lives of our young people.
