Schools Financial Services is a trading service offering a range of financial and business services to Local Authority and Academy Schools.

You will provide support to Finance Officers in carrying out their role and will visit schools to undertake routine financial functions.

You will also provide effective administrative support for the section.

Duties will include visiting schools to assist with the operation of their financial management systems (SIMS/CMIS) and a high level of computer literacy is therefore essential including spreadsheet and word processing packages.

Experience of SIMS and CMIS in a school setting is preferred.

You will have good communication skills and be able to work on you own initiative, in a pressurised environment.

An Enhanced Children’s DBS Check is required for this role.
