Salary:  £32,234 - £36,922 per annum pro rata (Grade 9)

37 Hours per week - Fixed term/secondment until 31 July 2021

Staffordshire County Council is seeking to appoint one full-time Quality Assurance manager until 31 July 2020 within the Stafford and South Staffordshire District Office, SEND Assessment and Planning Service (Education, Health and Care) based at Staffordshire Place 2, Tipping Street, Stafford ST16 2DH (please note due to COVID19 home working is currently in operation).  Travel to other areas other than your usual base for meetings and/or training will also be required.

We are seeking a passionate, motivated individual to join our team of Quality Assurance Managers within the SEND Assessment and Planning Service.  The role of the Quality Assurance Manager is to ensure that as a County we produce good quality plans, deliver consistency across all districts, support co-production and promote collaborative working for all EHC Plans for Staffordshire’s children and young people.  You will support the SEND Managers to develop and sustain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the education, health and care needs assessment and review process.  You will ensure that education, health and care plans comply with legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements in addition to the policies, standards and procedures of the Authority.

This is a fast-paced role in which you will be required to manage your own caseload independently and as part of a team.  The ability to reflect on practice and improve as a result is paramount.  Please read the job description attached for more detail on the role.
