Job Details

2 x 37 hours per week

Based at Endeavour House, Solihull, the Estate Management team is committed to developing a stronger, safer, and cleaner community for all our tenants and leaseholders. 

You will have line management responsibility for a small team of Estate Assistants and be responsible for the management of various estate issues including low level anti-social behaviour within designated areas.

You will be responsible for the management of high rise and low rise buildings in respect to communal areas; fire safety, communal cleaning, waste & recycling and grounds maintenance and ensure that they are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, tidiness and free from hazards.

You will be responsible for investigating and responding to enquiries and complaints relating to fly tipping, boundary disputes and tree enquiries.    

You will be a team player, attentive to detail, organised and be able to manage challenging priorities in a very busy, constantly reactive environment.

You will embrace collaborative working with various stakeholders and be able to articulate yourself verbally and in writing to a very high standard with customers, Councillors, MPs and colleagues.

We are an Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO) set up in April 2004 to run the housing service on behalf of Solihull Council. The Council still owns the properties and is the landlord. But housing services are delivered by us.

We are run by a management board made up of four tenants, four councillors and four independent people chosen for their specialist skills and experience.
