Salary G9 £33,448- £38,506 Per annum
Hours: 37 per week
These vacancies are available for a minimum of 6-months as:
- Fixed term contracts for external applicants; or
- Secondment opportunities for Walsall Council employees
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with the Public Health Team at Walsall Council.
We work closely with colleagues across the health and social care economy and we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and proactive person(s) who has the confidence, experience and knowledge to work alongside colleagues to support the response to the Covid19 pandemic.
As part of an on-call and business support unit, you will assist in the response to calls and requests for information /advice and should be aware of the advice and guidance issued by the Government and Public Health England.
The post holder will also:
- Maintain links with partners across the health and social care economy to ensure continuity and fluidity of the Covid-19 response service
- Assist in the continuous review, development and provision of the service in line with changes to processes and guidance
- Assist the public health team in continuing to deliver essential business
In addition to Covid-19 response, there will be opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in other areas of public health.
