The Role

Permanent KS2 Teaching Assistant (Level 1)

Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 1.30pm, 22.5 hrs per week, term time only including Inset days – 39 weeks. To start as soon as possible.
Pay range: BAND D point 4/5 (£18,425 – £18,795 FTE)

We are an energetic, creative and forward thinking school, looking for a well-motivated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team.


Key Requirements

You will need to be creative, understand how children learn and be able to form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. You must be prepared to carry out both one to one and group work in addition to undertaking other duties which support the education and well being of pupils. You will be expected to maintain the high standards established in our school and use strategies in liaison with the teacher to support pupils to achieve their full potential in their learning. You will also be expected to prepare, maintain and use any equipment/resources required in order to deliver the planned relevant learning activity.

This role requires you to be well motivated and supportive of our Catholic Ethos.
