The City of Wolverhampton has an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our Housing Strategy Team.


The successful candidate will support the team to drive an excellent housing offer across the City, working with stakeholders and residents to ensure there is high quality housing that meets residents needs and demands.


Working as an integral part of the team you will deploy and develop relevant knowledge, skills and experience to provide effective and efficient support to activities within the Council’s strategic housing service; assisting in the delivery of performance and contract monitoring, undertaking research and data analysis, supporting new projects and initiatives as they emerge and supporting the Council in its role as landlord.


The successful candidate will have excellent written, oral and organisational skills to develop systems and procedures that will support the effective running of the team. They will be highly competent in the use of Excel and other ICT packages to be able to work on and provide  performance data, statistical returns and research and analysis. They will have the ability to be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the service. They will have the confidence, credibility and interpersonal skills to work with a range of partners.


The post requires Office based and agile working with some travel to site offices and attendance at evening meetings
