Predominantly working from Corbyn Road, Dudley
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join our Duty and Assessment Service. If you have the skill, determination and commitment to improve outcomes for children and families, and the drive to continue the positive development within the service, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!
You will have responsibility for one of five Duty and Assessment teams and will be responsible for ensuring children and their families receive a high quality service through Children and Families Assessments and section 47 enquiries.
You will have an assigned administrative coordinator and direct access to the Centre for Professional Practice, with a dedicated Advance Practitioner aligned to support improvement across all of Duty and Assessment.

You must hold a Social Work qualification and a DBS will also be required to undertake this role.

The council has a contractual 3 days mandatory unpaid leave which, for the majority of services, are fixed at the Christmas period. This represents a pay deduction of 1.15% in return for which employees are afforded three days unpaid leave (pro-rata for part time staff).
