The Role

Exhall Grange Specialist School are seeking to appoint a School Caretaker to join a dedicated premises team consisting of four staff within the maintenance department with nine cleaners who work after school hours.

Exhall Grange Specialist School is a county-wide specialist provision for pupils aged between 2 and 19. The school meets the needs of pupils with sensory impairment, physical disabilities and/or social communication difficulties including autism.

The school site is campus style with excellent facilities including a swimming pool, gym, specialist teaching spaces as well as spacious outdoor areas.

You will be part of the premises team responsible for maintaining the facilities, pool, health and safety on site, site security and minibus fleet maintenance.

We are seeking to appoint a School Caretaker to work within the Premises team working a rotating shift pattern of week 1 : 9.30 am to 5.30 pm and week 2 : 12.00 pm to 8.00 pm during term time. In the school holidays, there is an option to adjust your hours to 8.00am – 4.00pm.

Relevant training can be provided for Swimming Pool Management and MIDAS (minibus driving) certificates.
